Overview
BeA Well is a flagship initiative under BeA Bridge’s Community & Service pillar, focused on sustainable water access, sanitation, and environmental health as essential foundations for community wellbeing.
Developed in collaboration with environmental science experts, BeA Well reflects our commitment to solutions that are responsible, evidence-based, and built to last.

Overview
Our Sustainable Service & Exchange Projects are intentionally designed to collaborate, not compete, with existing university service and global health trips. Our focus is on transforming short-term experiences into long-term, sustainable partnerships that benefit both host communities and participating students.
Key Components
Partnering with university service trips to raise funds for endowments that provide long-term sustainability beyond individual trips
Creating reciprocal cultural exchange, including support for:
Lodging
Travel
Vaccinations
Administrative and visa paperwork
Supporting students from host countries to visit the United States for educational and cultural exchange opportunities
Long-Term Vision
BeA Bridge will raise $50,000 over five years to support sustainable service and exchange partnerships. Of this total, $25,000 will be allocated to a dedicated endowment designed to ensure the long-term continuity of partnered service programs, regardless of annual fundraising fluctuations.
Each year, BeA Bridge will raise approximately $10,000, with funds intentionally split to balance immediate impact and long-term sustainability:
$5,000 will directly support student participation and program needs for that year’s service initiative
$5,000 will be invested into the endowment
In the program’s initial year, a modest pilot allocation (~$1,000) will be used to support early student participation and test administrative and exchange logistics.
