Bailey Baerwolf is often referred to as a visual attorney for his ability to represent ideas, individuals, and collectives with a gentle care and a tenacious pursuit of achieving a desired outcome through storytelling, graphic design, photography, and filmmaking. With a Bachelor’s of Science in Urban Design from Parsons School of Design, he brings form to the fluid realm of ideas—fueled by a radical optimism and an unwavering belief in the power of collaborative creation.

At BeA Bridge, Bailey collaborates closely with the team to convey the mission and work across multimedia formats.

Anjie Basnight

Anjie Basnight is a communications and fundraising professional at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry. With academic training in psychology, business administration, and marketing, she brings strategic storytelling and operational insight to her leadership. Since relocating to North Carolina, she has remained deeply engaged in civic life and community service.

As founding Board Chair, Anjie provides governance leadership grounded in authenticity, fairness, and holistic service.

Heather Dennis

Board Treasurer

Heather Dennis brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience guiding mission-driven nonprofits through growth, strategic transformation, and financial sustainability. She previously served as Executive Director of Dress for Success Triangle and led Meals on Wheels organizations in Rhode Island and Nashville, overseeing multimillion-dollar operations and expanding partnerships with healthcare systems and community stakeholders.

With executive training from Harvard Business School and a background in leadership and organizational administration, Heather brings disciplined fiscal oversight and strategic governance to BeA Bridge. As Treasurer, she partners with board leadership to ensure financial integrity while supporting long-term growth.

Dr. April Fields

Dr. April Fields is a highly sought-after locum tenens dentist practicing in North Carolina. Her foundation as a registered dental hygienist shaped her comprehensive clinical perspective and strengthened her confidence in patient care. Through traveling dentistry, she has developed adaptability, resilience, and a broad understanding of diverse practice environments.

Samantha Wooten is an environmental professional with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from North Carolina State University, specializing in sustainable built environments. She has experience advancing water quality policy and is a dedicated advocate for environmental education and accessibility.

As Water Accessibility Lead, Samantha works to ensure that communities have equitable access to safe, sustainable water resources—recognizing that environmental justice is essential to public health and long-term resilience.

Dr. Danny Mora

Education Chair

Dr. Danny Mora González is an Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist, educator, and U.S. Navy veteran dedicated to advancing diagnostic precision and interdisciplinary collaboration. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico and completed his specialty training and Master of Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Danny serves as faculty at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine and practices as an oral and maxillofacial pathologist in Puerto Rico. His work spans clinical diagnostics, academic leadership, and research, with recognized expertise in head and neck pathology. Through teaching, mentorship, and professional engagement, he contributes to strengthening standards of care and advancing oral health outcomes across the communities he serves.

Rachel Wooten

Food Accessibility Lead

Rachel Wooten earned her B.S. in Food Science from NC State University and has built a career across food production and operations, including work in poultry, produce, and co-packing industries. She later expanded her expertise into project management within the software sector, bringing innovation and systems thinking to her work.

Currently working at Butterball, Rachel leverages her background in manufacturing operations and technology to implement digital transformation solutions at all levels of the business.

Dr. Neal Quinn

Community & Service Chair

Dr. Neal Quinn is an orthodontic resident at the University of Washington with a strong commitment to community-centered care and health equity. A North Carolina native, he earned both his undergraduate and dental degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill. He co-founded the PRIDE Clinic, an initiative providing free, affirming dental care to LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Dr. Neal’s work reflects his dedication to addressing systemic barriers to care while advancing mentorship, education, and inclusive healthcare delivery.

Dr. Beatrice Williams

Dr. Beatrice Williams is a board-certified orthodontist, researcher, and community-focused leader dedicated to advancing equitable access to healthcare, mentorship, and opportunity. She earned her DDS and completed her orthodontics residency at UNC-Chapel Hill, graduating with distinction, and holds a Business Essentials Certificate from UNC Kenan-Flagler.

Dr. Beatrice practices in the North Carolina and serves as a consultant and board member for CFS Dental Division. She is active in organized dentistry through leadership and advocacy initiatives and contributes to mentorship programs, professional panels, and international dental outreach efforts focused on sustainable access to care.

As Founder and Executive Director, she leads BeA Bridge with a multidisciplinary approach that connects health, education, financial empowerment, mentorship, community service, and spirituality.

David Williams

David Williams is a Software Engineer and systems strategist specializing in automation, digital infrastructure, and operational efficiency. With a background in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, he has led student mentorship initiatives and developed scalable technical solutions across both nonprofit and private-sector environments.

In his professional work, David partners with small businesses and mission-driven organizations to streamline operations, build digital tools, and design automation systems that improve quality of life and long-term sustainability.

Dina Williams

Board Secretary & Creative Arts & Sciences Chair

Dina Williams is a Ghanaian-American artist and storyteller based in Dublin, Ireland. Rooted in poetry and spirituality, her work uses music and language as tools for reflection and care. She studied Literature at The New School in New York City and has worked across multiple areas of the publishing industry.

As Creative Arts & Sciences Chair, Dina integrates artistic practice with community engagement, supporting initiatives that elevate creative expression as a pathway toward empathy and deeper environmental and cultural awareness.

Shawntae Young

Spirituality Chair

“Healing happens when we care for both the body and the spirit.”

Shawntae Young is a licensed massage therapist and founder of Willow Tree Soul Wellness LLC in Raleigh, NC. She is a certified yoga instructor, sound healing therapist, Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher, and certified birth doula. Her work integrates Reiki, Thai table massage, deep tissue, prenatal and postnatal massage, trigger point therapy, Graston Technique, and sound healing to support whole-person wellness. Shawntae specializes in Reiki-infused bodywork, blending energetic and physical healing to create transformative experiences for her clients.

As Spirituality Chair, Shawntae brings a deeply holistic approach to community wellness—creating spaces that honor restoration, reflection, and connection.
